Seacoast Utility Authority contracted with Reynolds Inc. to construct a new 30.5 million gallon per day (MGD) finished water treatment plant comprised of 26.0 MGD of nanofiltration (NF), 3.5 MGD of low pressure reverse osmosis (LPRO), and 1.0 MGD of pretreated local surficial aquifer blend water.

Aerex’s scope includes the shop manufacture of ten NF skids designed for a permeate flow of 2.6 MGD each, shop manufacture of two LPRO skids designed for a permeate flow of 1.75 MGD each, manufacture of all cartridge filter housings and 316L stainless steel off-skid piping.

The City of Lake Worth contracted with TLC Diversified Construction Group to provide and install a new 25,000 gallon per day pilot unit. TLC contracted Aerex Industries to design and manufacture the two-stage 25,000 gallon per day pilot unit.

Koch TFC 4820XR extra high rejection, brackish water reverse osmosis membrane elements, Protec PRO 4-300-SP, high temperature, ASME code stamped pressure vessels, Grundfos pumps and Rosemount instrumentation are just a few of the major components used in construction. The pilot unit frame was fabricated using Extren extruded structural fiberglass shapes. Feed and concentrate piping were fabricated using 316 stainless steel.

The City of Pompano Beach, Florida contracted with R.J. Sullivan Construction Corp. to modify their existing nanofiltration (NF) plant and cleaning system.

Based on the design of Camp, Dresser & McKee, Aerex’s scope includes replacing all pressure vessels, replacing all membrane elements, replacing selected valves, modifying existing piping and modifying the existing cleaning system.
Engineering design, project management and field service will be supplied from Aerex’s headquarters in Fort Pierce, Florida.
