St. John’s County contracted with Aerex Industries in conjunction with CDM Constructors for Construction Management and Ortega Industrial Contractors as the General Contractor to construct the new CR214 Mainland Water Treatment Plant.
The low pressure reverse osmosis system (LPRO) will use Dow/Filmtec LE-400 membranes in a 32-16 array. The system is designed for two 2.0 MGD skids for a total capacity of 4.0 MGD. However, the system design allows for the addition of a third reverse osmosis skid for a final capacity of 6.0 MGD.
