Aerex Industries, Inc. was incorporated on April 22, 1991 in the State of Florida. Aerex is owned by Consolidated Water Co. Ltd. (listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Stock Exchange). Jason Carlson serves as President.
Aerex has been in business as a membrane systems equipment manufacturer for more than 20 years.
Aerex’s capabilities are derived from its diversity in engineering, manufacturing, assembly and distribution. We offer complete engineering services, including CAD drafting, with 3-D modeling, structural finite element analysis, membrane treatment system design and computerized hydraulic analysis.
Our engineering staff at Aerex combines materials and project specifications to cost effectively design custom products. This requires precise engineering, meticulous planning and continued analysis throughout the design process. As an innovative leader in the water/wastewater industry, Aerex requires every employee go through several certification processes in design and manufacturing in order to bring the customer unmatchable quality, true integrity in everything we do and complete customer satisfaction.
Design calculations and detailed manufacture drawings are prepared by our engineering department to comply with either ASME, API or customer supplied specifications. Our quality control department, established in accordance with NQA-1 (Nuclear Quality Assurance – 1) requirements, ensures that each item is manufactured to the highest standards. ASME code-certified and authorized to use “S,” “U,” and “R” code stamps, Aerex is qualified to perform code fabrication to ASME Section I and VIII Division I, ANSI B31.1 and B31.3.
Each project is subjected to a thorough evaluation of the clients’ process requirements, specifications and material data. Projects are closely monitored during manufacturing with schedule and progress updates communicated regularly to the customer. Everything we manufacture is built to extremely close tolerances because we custom design our systems specifically to meet the individual customer’s needs.
Our manufacturing facilities are recognized as one of the most capable and efficient in the industry with more than 30,000 square feet for manufacturing and assembly. All manufacturing areas are under cranes ranging from 5 to 25 tons. Aerex currently employs over 28 highly-skilled plant and administrative employees in this drug-free workplace. Our welding shop is ASME code-certified and authorized to use “S,” “U,” and “R” code stamps, giving Aerex deep background in making very durable, long lasting products. Because our employees are required to go through the certification process for a variety of materials, they are qualified to perform code fabrication to ASME Section I and VIII Division I, ANSI B31.1 and B31.3.
Aerex’s innovative quality and craftsmanship is unparalleled in the industry through developing and incorporating modern manufacturing methods. Aerex has extensive machining, welding and other state-of-the-art equipment available to manufacture and assemble an infinite variety of piping systems, vessels, membrane systems, cartridge filter vessels, and other custom equipment.
